We asked Chiara Boselli, the creative mind behind Les Pommes restaurant branding, to tell us more about this tasty project...
What made you choose botanical images for the branding of the restaurant?
"We have been working on the branding of Les Pommes: a small, highly selected and recently renovated restaurant in the Milanese neighbourhood of Isola; the most intellectual and chic part of the city.
We wanted to create a real "secret garden" that is beautiful, cultured and elegant as well as magical, fresh and welcoming."

Why use the Bridgeman archive?
"We wanted to express elegance and femininity (the restaurant owner is a lovely young woman very attentive to detail) but also to balance the formal rigor of the architectural design. To draw upon the vast Bridgeman archive was a natural choice!
We have carefully selected each individual element of our garden from different reproductions and then assembled them to create a new, unique and fantastic place."
