The cabaret artists Margrit Rainer and Ruedi Walter play a scene in front of two cameras at Studio Muenchenstein near Basel. The television test facility of the Basel radio cooperative was officially opened in April 1952 in the sound film studio in Munich. On three evenings a week, the population of Basel and the surrounding area will be able to watch television programs in numerous specially equipped TV rooms for a small fee.
