The consumate Detroit huckster, Lee A. Iacocca, who brought America the Ford Mustang, Chrysler K-car and minivan returned to Detroit on February 10 and annouced plans to sell 50,000 electrically powered bicycles a year starting late this summer. Iacocca, now chairman of EV Global Motors Co., also unveiled an alliance with Energy Conversion Devices Inc., a battery company headed by former General Motors Chairman Robert Stemple.
