Bonaly. Group of Lord Cockburn's family posed on the lawn of Bonaly Towers. Presumably taken on the same occasion as print 69, this view is primarily an architectural rather than a portrait study, the emphasis directed towards the castle rather than to the group in the foreground. The group includes John Henning, Mrs Cockburn, Lord Cockburn, Mrs Cleghorn and David Octavius Hill.
