Altarpiece also known as the Adoration of the Mystic Lamb. The Offerings of Cain and Abel is seen in the lunette above the figure of Adam. In the 19th century the nude figures of Adam and Eve were considered unacceptable in a church and they were replaced by clothed reproductions (seen here) which are still on display.
