The Westbury or Bratton White Horse is a hill figure on the escarpment of Salisbury Plain, approx 2.5 km east of Westbury in England. The White Horse is visible from afar and is a famous local landscape. It is believed to have been cut into the hillside in the 16th century to celebrate the supposed Battle of Ethandun in AD 878; restored in 1778 which may have obliterated the earlier version;
