The documentary, through testimonies of women, tells the difficulty of creating a serene and conscious motherhood in relation to problems such as health, work, kindergartens, contraception, abortion. The film is entirely built on the basis of testimonies collected in various parts of Italy and in various situations: a factory occupied by women workers, a kindergarten, a consultancy, the lane of a department maternity. The story of an emblematic motherhood is the common thread to the investigation.
