Image description

A flying saucer in Milan. Leaving around eight in the evening from an aeronautical plant, located at Linate airport, a group of technicians and aviators including Engineer Luigi Nardi, his brother Elio, Maner Lualdi and Engineer Mori, I saw in the starry sky a luminous body composed of two dark red discs joined by a light red conical central structure, which at great speed directed right on the airport. Suddenly, however, after losing altitude, he reversed the route by disappearing. His appearance lasted about 20 minutes. Three days later, Ing Nardi saw the mysterious body at the same time making evolutions in the Linate sky. Illustration for Courier Sunday, 24 October 1954.
