Iraq's Foreign undersecretary Riyadh al-Qaysi tells reporters reporters January 3 that Iraq condemned a rocket attack against the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad, saying it was carried out by "hostile parties." There were no casualties and the damage was minimal in an attack where two rocket-propelled grenades were fired. An Iraqi Culture and Information Ministry spokesman blamed the attack on a "group which does not like relations between Iraq and the U.N. Security Council to be stable". Iraq and UNSCOM are locked in a standoff over inspections of "presidential sites" which Baghdad has declared off-limits to the U.N. inspectors. IRAQ
