Theaterloge. Die europaischen Theater des 18 Jahrhunderts waren viel mehr noch als heute Mittelpunkt des gesellschaftlichen Lebens. Der noch jetzt bevorzugte ursprunglich italienische Aufbau hatte sich bereits damals herausgebildet. Die tiefe Buhne bot Raum fur reiche Dekoration und die Bewegung der mit der Oper verbundenen Ballette, deren Inhalt meist der antiken Sagenwelt entnommen war. Translation: Theater Box. The European theaters of the 18th century were much more central to social life than they are today. The originally Italian structure, which is still preferred today, had already developed at that time. The deep stage offered space for rich decorations and the movement of ballets related to opera, the content of which was mostly taken from ancient legends.
