Image description

Racist image intended for domestic consumption to raise morale. The gargoyle-like character is probably based on Emperor Hideki Tojo. The poster was used in the Douglas Aircraft Company factories after Pearl Harbor to help reduce waste. It was later distributed to 7,000 suppliers and other industries. Original title: Tokio kid say - Broke up tools waste for scrap just like bullets make for Jap.
