Image description

Oslo 1969: For the 1969 parliamentary elections, the Labor Party was able to pattern 12 strong parliamentary candidates under the age of 35- this was unique in the election context. Five of the 12 had safe places, while the rest were in "match places" and could expect to be elected as the first alternate, at least. Here is a collection of the 12,- for the occasion photographed on the railing in front of the Storting. From V: Einar Førde, Thorbjørn Berntsen, Gunar Berge, Geirmund Ihle, Arne Kielland, Jan Tonning, Klaus Halvorsen, Asbjørn Mathisen, Per Utsi, Bjarne Mørk Eidem, Finn Kristensen and Gunnar Skaug.
