The seated figure wears a bag containing coca leaves, from which cocaine is made, for coca-chewing rituals. A common vessel shape used in ancient Peru had a "stirrup-spout" handle, in which a center spout at the top is connected to the vessel by a pair of tubes curved like a horse's stirrup.
