TEL AVIV MUSEUM OF ART

The Tel Aviv Museum of Art was founded in 1932 and has been expanding and developing its collection ever since; a brand new wing was opened in November 2011, designed by the Harvard architecture professor Preston Scott Cohen. The institution is Israel’s foremost museum of Modern and Contemporary art, containing art from both Israel and around the world. Its collection includes works by such luminaries of Modernism as Egon Shiele, Juan Gris and Victor Varsarely as well as home-grown artists like Moshe Kupferman and Itzhak Danziger.
