Henry Samuel Alken Junior (1810-1894) was the eldest son of Henry Thomas Alken (1785-1851), and grandson of Samuel Alken Senior (1756-1815). He tended to paint in sets and usually depicted sporting scenes.
Henry Graves and Co. (1827-1926 (trading dates of business) was founded by Henry Graves (1806-1892) and located at the Pall Mall address between 1845 and 1891.
