Florence Nightingale became a household name for revolutionising the nursing ethos of the British medical establishment. The Museum that has been created in her name is house to a collection of artefacts that tell the story of Florence Nightingale’s life, her work and her legacy. As well as drawings, personal letters, photographs, prints, watercolours and woodwork, the museum is also home to Florence’s Turkish Lantern; an object that has become a timeless symbol of, both Florence herself, and her legendary work.
