Alta, Bossekop 19520419. Bossekop- The market, the large famous Sami market that is gathered every year at the Samvirkelaget in Alta. Here, there are many from the ridges nearby to sell household goods, reindeer meat and leather. The trade goes lively. The goods are transported in bags by truck from Gargia Fjellstue, which is the gathering place for the Sami after they have come down from Vidda. The clerkers at the Samvirkelaget receive approx. 40-50,000 kg. Meat delivered to the market in the days it lasts.
