Switzerland, Zurich Housing (b/w photo)

In September 1959, in order to get to an apartment quickly, a taxi keeper working in Zurich, but living out of town so far, unceremoniously deposited all his household effects on the street in front of the office for emergency apartments on Muensterplatz in Zurich. Soon a large crowd had gathered around the strange train, and the high police could not be absent. But the man from Central Switzerland had calculated correctly: On the same day, the housing office was able to provide him with a suitable dwelling, where the furniture was recharged and brought into the new apartment.
