A gold urn with meixed floweres stands on a pedestal with child on the left, seated on steps. Evidently the work of two hands, one a specialist painter of flowers in elaborate vessels and settings in the manner of Monnoyer, possibly the Hungarian, Bogdani, and the face by a professional portrait-painter, possibly the Dutchman, van der Vaart.
