Switzerland Art Carlo Lischetti, 1974 (b/w photo)

Twenty metres long and one and a half metres wide is the path that Bern's Haerdluetli City Councillor and action artist Carl E. Lischetti has been laid out in 32 square metres of piece of land. After the completion of the work on the land rented by the city of Bern on the banks of the Aare and after the erection of a plaque bearing his name, including a small tablet with the saying “Being here means being there, being able”, Lischetti opens his “path for walks of thought”. He cuts with a pair of pliers, glues his mouth with a plastic, splits the roadblock in two. Recorded in Berne on 13 May 1974
