Nov. 11, 1953 - African Mission's centenary is international gathering: Representative from all over the world, including the United States, gathered in Keta, Gold Coast, recently to celebrate, in the British African Colony that is moving rapidly towards self-government, the centenary of the Keta Ewe Presbyterian Church. The church, founded in 1853 by two German missionaries, today has a membership of 7,000 who worship in a modern building accomadating a congregation of 3,000 people. Photo shows right: Two American missionaries, the Rev. and Mrs. Grau who arrived in 1946, are presented with brooches in recognition of their services. Prebyter Paul Nutsugah, wearing a robe patterned with the portraits of pioneer missionaries and specially designed for the celebration, makes the presentation. Top left: Dr. E. Ramsaur, Direcotr of the Bremen Mission in Germany (right) speaks at a service held at the Keta Presbyterian cemetery in memory of deceased members of the church. The Rev.
