Mar. 03, 1954 - Hias Rebitsch gets Entry-Permit to the Himalaya: Hias Rebitsch just got the entry-permit from Pakistan Government for his German-Austrian expedition to the Himalaya and Karakorum. Mr. Rebitsch is the only leader of expeditions from Western Germany who got this permission. The necessary sum of DM 170,000 is already at hand and the equipment prooved. When our reporter visited Mr. Rebitsch, he was offered to taste a special kind of hot dogs which do not burst, even not at temperature of 40 degrees below zero and 60 degrees above zero. The expedition is equipped with very light air-matrasse weighing 1 kg. only which are not for sale in the public trade. The clothes for the members of the expedition are made of angora-perlon tissue and are light and warm-keeping
