TO MATCH WITH STORY BC-MEDIA COLOMBIA REBEL - Leftist rebel squad commander Ivan Perdomo, coordinator of "The Voice of the Resistance" radio station, answers a question during a Reuters interview deep in the jungle of Colombia. "From the trenches of combat with rifle on shoulder and microphone in hand, this is The Voice of Resistance" says a rebel, sifting through a heap of some 200 assorted CDs and cassettes. After some seven years dabbling on and off with radio, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) is now firmly embarked on taking their revolution from the battlefield to the airwaves too. This month the FARC will celebrate 36 years of armed struggle aimed at toppling the state and settingup a Communist regime - a war that has cost 35,000 lives in just the last 10 years. JMG/RCS
