Video description

Locked Down Shot, LS, exterior, daylight. The Partal was occupied by courtiers and government officials. The tower beside the pool is known as the "Tower of the Ladies", although it wasn't called that in Moorish times. It is the only surviving element of the building work carried out in this area by Muhammad III between 1302 and 1309. The gardens were planted in the mid-20th century. Alhambra was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984.
