Detail. Protagonist of the scene is Saint Peter, sitting on the pulpit in a higher position, a blue drape upon his shoulders, in front of a white edifice; he wears a dark tunic, wrapped up in an orange mantle falling form his left shoulder; at the feet of the Saint, who is praying with his gaze addressed to the sky, kneel down three male characters, maybe friars; the man in the middle is faced backwards, while the other two men are depicted in a profile; in front of a lateral door stand up a group of men, one of whom - his looks addressed to the viewer - is told to be a portrait of Masaccio
