The Revenge of the Bees (Colour Litho)

The revenge of the bees. The young Jean Carles from Mergey (France) was in the field with his two horses. Annoyed by a pair of bees, he gestured with his hand to push them away; he had never done so. A few seconds later thousands and thousands of bees threw themselves at the victim who rushed to the nearest farmhouse to save himself. The enraged insects took their anger out on the horses. The firefighters were called from the city; they rushed and managed to drive them away with powerful jets of water. But the horses, because of the stings they suffered, died.
